Groups
Parties of 8 or more (including children) require a reservation and a $18 per person deposit. Your deposit will be applied as a credit during your visit.
Large parties will have an automatic gratuity of 18% added to their bill.
Groups are limited to a maximum of 14 persons for up to 2 hours to ensure we are able to accommodate all guests.
Smaller parties no longer require reservations.
Casanel’s house policy is to ID everyone regardless of age, so please bring a proper state-issued ID for your visit.

Transportation / Parking
Limousines, buses, and other vehicles for hire must have a reservation, regardless of the size of vehicle or party. Please contact us to request a reservation.
Tours
Tours at Casanel Vineyards are available by appointment only. Tours cost $15 per person and we require a group minimum size of 6 persons. Tours include a walk thru of the vineyards and the winery (production facility space). They normally last about an hour and we encourage sturdy shoes! For guests who are 21 or older.
Fire Pit Rentals
Casanel now offers fire pit rentals. Please inquire to info@casanelvineyards for pricing and availability.
Children
Children are welcome in our main tasting room, patio and picnic areas. Are two side decks connected to the Dawson room in our main tasting room are ADULT ONLY (21+).
We ask that parents supervise their children at all times.
Pets
Friendly dogs are welcome on our main patio and picnic areas ONLY (not inside the Tasting Room or on the side decks). Please keep your fur babies on a leash at all times and be sure to clean up after them.
Outside Food
Outside food and picnics are ONLY allowed on the decks, patio, and picnic areas. Casanel provides an array of crackers, cheeses, and other snacks for those who wish to enjoy food with their wine inside the Tasting Room.
Outside Alcohol
The Virginia Department Of Alcoholic Beverage Control states that only wine produced at Casanel Vineyards and Winery is permitted on premises. Any outside alcohol is prohibited and illegal. Violators of this law will be required to leave Casanel immediately.
Flights / Tastings
Our self-guided flights consist of 4 pre-selected wines, with an option of a white or red flight, 2 oz. pours of each.
Our tasting consists of 7 pre-selected wines (3 whites, 1 rosé, 3 reds), 1 oz. pours of each.
No substitutions will be permitted.
Vineyard Closing
Last call at Casanel is 5:30 p.m. After last call, bottles may be purchased to take home, but no more alcohol will be served. Casanel reverts back to private property and the DeSouza’s home when the tasting room closes at 6:00 p.m. Casanel also may close due to private events, please check upcoming events tab and social media for early closing times.

When coming from route 15, continue on Canby road to main gate. Do not veer right down private lane.
