Join Sip & ScriptⓇ for Modern Calligraphy & Pumpkin Lettering for Beginners at Casanel Vineyards

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit, and all materials to write on. We will also be lettering on mini faux pumpkins as our final project! And everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop!

Feel free to come early, grab your seat, and purchase any food or drinks (food and drinks are available to purchase throughout the class, too!). You are permitted to bring outside food (please, nothing with a strong odor), but no outside alcohol permitted. Class will start promptly at 2:00 PM! 

A note on bringing guests 16 and under: We love to share this passion with kids. You are welcome to get a ticket for your child if you are comfortable with people around them having a drink or two. We ask that a ticketed adult accompany anyone under the age of 16 at all times.

This summer, we’re turning the spotlight on red wine. 🍷☀️

Our Spotlight on Summer Reds series will run on the fourth Thursday of each month, when we’ll feature one of our red wines and share how beautifully it fits into the flavors and moments of summer.

Our August (and final) featured wine is our Cabernet Sauvignon.

Cabernet Sauvignon is often overlooked in the heat, but it is actually the ultimate "BBQ Red" for summer. Cooler temperatures help focus the dark fruit flavors and keep the alcohol from feeling "hot" or overpowering in the summer sun.

This intimate club event gives our members an opportunity to experience our future wine releases straight from the barrel.

You will be guided through the wine production process from grape to glass, as well as the specifics of each wine you'll be tasting. Guests will sample six carefully selected wines directly from the barrel and enjoy two small-bite pairings with each tasting.

Due to the scope of this event, the cost is $35 per person.

We have truly enjoyed hosting Mahjong players in our relaxed tasting room this summer. This Thursday, August 20, will be our final Mahjong event of the season, and we want to celebrate with a special offer for you.
