Designed for all skill levels, this in-person event invites you to play with colors and techniques as you pour paint onto an 8x10 canvas, turning your ideas into vibrant art.
All materials are included: one canvas, premium acrylic paints and pouring medium, gloves, apron, and all necessary supplies
Whether you're planning a day with friends, celebrating a special occasion, or simply looking for a unique vineyard experience, this event promises an afternoon of creativity, conversation, and exceptional wine.

Speed Puzzle Challenge
Piece It Together—One Sip at a Time
We’ve had fun including Speed Puzzle Challenges in our Thursday lineup.
Our last challenge will be on August 13
🧩 Teams of 2-4 players will be tasked to complete the same puzzle in 90 minutes or less. Puzzles change each month.
🎟️ Cost is $10 per person — minimum of 2 puzzlers per team.

August Sip: Our Barrel Tasting
Join us for our August Sip featuring our exclusive Barrel Tasting!
This intimate club event gives our members an opportunity to experience our future wine releases straight from the barrel.
You will be guided through the wine production process from grape to glass, as well as the specifics of each wine you'll be tasting. Guests will sample six carefully selected wines directly from the barrel and enjoy two small-bite pairings with each tasting.
Due to the scope of this event, the cost is $35 per person.

Spend your Saturday entertained by one of our own — The Night Chasers!
They’ll be performing on Saturday, August 22nd from 2-5 PM, playing a blend of Jazz, Blues, and Classic Rock, incorporating songs by artists such as Etta James, Fleetwood Mac, Amy Winehouse, The Eagles, Adele, The Beatles, and Aretha.

This intimate club event gives our members an opportunity to experience our future wine releases straight from the barrel.
You will be guided through the wine production process from grape to glass, as well as the specifics of each wine you'll be tasting. Guests will sample six carefully selected wines directly from the barrel and enjoy two small-bite pairings with each tasting.

A slightly chilled glass of red at sunset just hits differently.
This summer, we’re turning the spotlight on red wine. 🍷☀️
Our Spotlight on Summer Reds series will run on the fourth Thursday of each month, when we’ll feature one of our red wines and share how beautifully it fits into the flavors and moments of summer.
Our August (and final) featured wine is our Cabernet Sauvignon.
Cabernet Sauvignon is often overlooked in the heat, but it is actually the ultimate "BBQ Red" for summer. Cooler temperatures help focus the dark fruit flavors and keep the alcohol from feeling "hot" or overpowering in the summer sun.

Modern Calligraphy Workshop with Sip & Script
Join Sip & ScriptⓇ for Modern Calligraphy & Pumpkin Lettering for Beginners at Casanel Vineyards
Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit, and all materials to write on. We will also be lettering on mini faux pumpkins as our final project! And everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop!
Feel free to come early, grab your seat, and purchase any food or drinks (food and drinks are available to purchase throughout the class, too!). You are permitted to bring outside food (please, nothing with a strong odor), but no outside alcohol permitted. Class will start promptly at 2:00 PM!
A note on bringing guests 16 and under: We love to share this passion with kids. You are welcome to get a ticket for your child if you are comfortable with people around them having a drink or two. We ask that a ticketed adult accompany anyone under the age of 16 at all times.

Everyone’s favorite party of the summer — Casanel’s annual Summer Crush party — is coming soon!
🍽️ Food will be provided by Monks BBQ with their delicious aged prime beef brisket, pulled chicken, classic vinegar slaw, slow smoked Monk’s baked beans, and their smoked Gouda macaroni and cheese! And delicious desserts will be available to enjoy after dinner.

Our June featured wine is N2: Nelson’s Norton.
Norton is an excellent summer red because it defies the "heavy red" stereotype with a unique combination of high acidity and low tannins, making it remarkably refreshing when served with a slight chill.

Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-Be, or just a crafty individual, you’ll be introduced to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink in this workshop.
Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper, and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop!

Please note that on Friday, June 5th, Casanel will be closing our main tasting room, the Yellow Barn, at 5:00 PM for a private event.

Casanel will continue to offer Mahjong Social Play on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays this summer. To make this event more accessible for everyone, our sessions will now begin at 5:00 PM. If you would like to continue coming in at 4:00, please let us know when you RSVP. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that there will be other players to match you with.
