Come gather, learn, and play at Casanel Vineyards & Winery! Perfect for beginners, this fun, social experience makes learning American Mahjong easy and enjoyable. No prior experience is needed!
Join us on October 25th, from 2:00–4:00 PM, for a beginner-friendly lesson. You'll learn the basics, including identifying the tiles and suits, reading the National Mahjong League (NMJL) card, navigating the Charleston, and understanding the flow of the game.

Class size is limited to 8 participants to ensure a relaxed, interactive experience. You’re welcome to bring your own 2026 NMJL card, but we’ll have cards available for the class.
Tickets
The cost is $25 per person, and includes a $5 credit toward the purchase of a bottle of our award-winning wine! Club members are $20 per person.

Our tasting room opens at 12:00 PM, so arrive early to enjoy a glass of wine and something to eat before class.
Non-alcoholic beverages, including sodas and mocktails, and a variety of charcuterie options are available for purchase.
Check-in begins at 1:45 PM, and the lesson starts promptly at 2:00 PM.
